1. 100% Client-Side Processing
The fundamental design of encode.quest is that all processing happens in your browser. When you paste text into our tools to encode or decode it, that data is processed locally using JavaScript on your device.
Your input data is never sent to our servers, stored in any database, or transmitted to any third party.
2. No Data Collection
We do not collect any personal information.
- No Cookies: We do not use cookies to track your behavior.
- No Tracking: We do not use third-party analytics (like Google Analytics) that track your identity or device across the web.
- No Account Required: You can use all tools without ever providing an email address or creating a profile.
3. Server Logs
Like most websites, our web server (which serves the static files) may log standard request information such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of your visit. This information is used strictly for server health monitoring, security, and to prevent abuse. It is never linked to the data you process within the tools.
4. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to external sites (such as GitHub or educational resources). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these third-party websites.
5. Open Source Transparency
To ensure trust, the source code of encode.quest is open for audit. You can verify our client-side claims by inspecting the code or using your browser's Developer Tools to monitor network activity while using the app.
6. Contact
